I’ve always had a great appreciation for art. As a kid I discovered how difficult it was to render my world in pencil or paint – part of what made my discovery of photography so wonderful. I have the greatest respect for artists who have the vision and skill to bring their creations into existence.

Photographing art installations poses a unique set of challenges. Mixed lighting sources are common, and it takes a skillful balancing of that light to accurately reproduce the gallery experience as intended by the artist.
